Ways To Fight Cancer

In Singapore, cancer is one of the leading causes of death — but early detection saves lives.

Regular cancer screenings can detect cancer in its earliest stages, often before symptoms appear. When caught early, treatment is more effective, less invasive, and the chances of survival are much higher.

So, what screening tests are recommended for you?

25 to 29 30 to 49 50 and above

Pap Test (Females Only)

  • Screening for cervical cancer
  • For females who have not done Pap test in the last 3 years
  • Recommended frequency: Once every 3 years
  • SCS Clinic @ Bishan

HPV Test (Females Only)

  • Screening for cervical cancer
  • For females who have not done HPV test in the last 5 years
  • Recommended frequency: Once every 5 years
  • SCS Clinic @ Bishan

Mammogram (Females Only)

  • Screening for breast cancer
  • Recommended frequency:
    • Females aged 40 to 49: Once every year
    • Females aged 50 and above: Once every 2 years

  • Community Mammobus

Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) (Males & Females)

  • Screening for colorectal cancer
  • For males and females who have not done a FIT test in the past 12 months or a colonoscopy in the past 5 years
  • Recommended frequency: Once every 12 months
  • HeathierSG Clinic/ Family Clinic
